PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for achieving a small, high-sensitivity, low-cost gene testing apparatus in order to easily conduct gene tests at a reduced cost. SOLUTION: A photosensor array for the biological sample testing apparatus has a means for selecting two pixels at the same time, and a differential output of their signals is obtained to detect microscopic chemiluminescence.
