PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous kneader for rubber to which an increased amount of rubber per unit time can be supplied and which can carry out low temperature kneading, and to provide a method for producing a vulcanizable rubber composition. SOLUTION: The continuous kneader for rubber is equipped with a screw 2 composed by a projecting screw flight 11 in the outer circumferential face of a screw shaft 10, a barrel into which the screw 2 is to be inserted, and a rubber supply port 3a formed in the top face side of the barrel for receiving the rubber G. Rubber G is supplied to the rubber supply port 3a from an extrusion apparatus 20. The rubber G is supplied to the rubber supply port 3a from a die attached to the extrusion apparatus 20, the tip end side 20a of the die is formed to be an arcuate shape adjacently to the outer circumferential part of the screw flight 11 at a prescribed gap, and the rubber G is supplied from a discharge port formed in the die.
