PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit sufficiently strong rotatory power without generating the deformation of the partition wall between a pressure container and the outside in a magnet coupling type rotatory power transmission apparatus. SOLUTION: A pressure adjusting chamber adjacent to a part of the pressure container through a partition wall is provided and a drive body equipped with a rotary drive disc having a permanent magnet is arranged in the pressure adjusting chamber. A rotary disc to be driven equipped with a permanent magnet corresponding to the permanent magnet of the rotary drive disc is arranged in the pressure container to detect the displacement of the partition wall to detect the pressure in the pressure container or the pressure difference between the pressure container and the pressure adjusting chamber. On the basis of the detected value, the pressure in the pressure adjusting chamber is adjusted so as not to deform the partition wall. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
