<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle holder simple in structure, easy in operation, not occupying an excessive scrapping space, safely protecting a needle tip, and usable for a needle assembly. <P>SOLUTION: This needle holder is used for the needle assembly having an operating mechanism axially displaced between a first position and a second position relative to the needle assembly by the engagement thereof with a blood collection tube. The needle holder comprises an outer body having a first end fitted to the needle assembly and a second end having an internal opening part. The needle holder also comprises an inner body having a displacing mechanism axially displacing the operating mechanism between a first escape position and a second operating position and slidable on the outer body. The inner body may be a tube body axially displacing relative to the outer body or an arm member having a tab operable by the fingers of a user and extended in a passage provided in the outer body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
