<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate porous body having an excellent bioabsorbability by a hole suitable for advancing a living body structure formed before the porous body is buried in a living body. <P>SOLUTION: This calcium phosphate porous body is provided by filling the mixture of calcium phosphate powder and water in a mold having bar-like projections 21 formed in the inner wall surface 20 thereof, hardening the mixture, and releasing the porous body from the mold. The maximum dimension of the cross section thereof is desirably be 10 to 1000 μm. The cross section of the projections is desirably be generally circular.
