PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food heating and cooling device capable of efficiently transferring heat to the whole food regardless of the kind of foods. SOLUTION: This device has a container 1 capable of housing a can drink 5, a fluid heat medium 4 filled in the inside of the container 1, a flexible member 3 for covering at least the can drink receiving side of the heat medium 4, and a heat medium heating and cooling device for heating and cooling the heat medium 4. According to such a structure, the can drink 5 housed in the container 1 is heated or cooled by the heat medium 4. Since the contact part of the medium 4 with the can drink 5 is covered with the flexible member, the heat medium is closely fitted according to the outer shape of the can drink 5, and the heat transfer can be efficiently performed.
