PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and economically produce and assemble a spring strip for the cushion member of a chair, etc., by which the front surface of the cushion of the chair, etc., with a cushion cover is divided by using a mounted spring element, and also which includes at least one strip main body 1 opening downward, and having at both sides each end piece to be attached to the chair, or, especially, to the grid or beam of a bed. SOLUTION: The strip main body is formed by at least two U shape moldings 3, 4 which are mutually separately arranged. The both U shape moldings are mutually connected with webs 5 at prescribed interval over the length of the U shape moldings, and also mutually connected with the end pieces 10 in the head part 2 of the strip.
