PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a balloon of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus by which a balloon is easily and equally fitted to the distal end of an insertion part. SOLUTION: With the outer peripheral surface of a guide cylinder 22 as a guide, the baloon 10 is rolled up to the outer peripheral surface of a baloon mounting cylinder 21 to set two fastening rings 10a and 10b in the state of pressing the outer peripheral surface of the baloon mounting cylinder 21. In the state, insertion part distal ends 2 and 5 are inserted to the balloon mounting cylinder 21. In a state where the fastening rings 10b on a rear side is positioned near a circumference groove 8b on the rear side, the balloon 10 is removed from the balloon mounting cylinder 21 to engage the fastening rings 10b on the rear side with the circumference groove 8b on the rear side. Thereafter, the balloon 10 is rolled back along the outer peripheral surfaces of the insertion part distal ends 2 and 5 to engage the fastening ring 10a on a distal side with the circumference groove 8a on the distal side.
