PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can wash fouled articles to be washed effectively and in a short time without using detergent but with a limited quantity of electrolyzed water and alkaline water to be generated with an electrolyzer. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with an electrolyzer 27, a boiler 40 with which the electrolyzed water generated by the electrolyzer 27 is heated to be vaporized and an outer jet nozzle 50 which is disposed outside the body of the washer and injects the electrolyzed water vaporized by the boiler 40 by the operation of a trigger 54. More concretely, the dishwasher is provided with an electrolyzer 27a which electrolyzes water to be separated into alkaline water and acidic water and a boiler 40 with which the alkaline water and the acidic water are heated to be vaporized, and an external jet nozzle 50 outside the body of the washer and jets the alkaline water or the acidic water vaporized by the boiler 40 to the objects 51 to be washed.
