PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow-fiber membrane module having a simplified structure and excellent filter performance. SOLUTION: A support bar 16 and hollow-fiber membrane bundles 18 are arranged between an upper fitting part 12 and a lower fitting part 14 and are integrated together with the two fitting parts by an adhesive 20. A hollow-fiber membrane of the hollow-fiber membrane bundle 18 comprises a hollow-fiber braid and a composite hollow-fiber membrane having a semipermeable layer on the outer surface of the braid. The hollow-fiber membrane bundles 18 are supported by the support bar 16, and mechanical strength of the hollow-fiber membrane is high, thus stable filtration operation is carried out.
