<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both of productivity and product quality in the manufacture of a pattern member obtained by forming a plurality of different kinds of materials into pattern-like shapes on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pattern member comprises a process for combining a forming plate 22 on which projecting patterns 22A of red, green and blue are formed and a mask M having openings MA each having the nearly same shape as the projecting pattern so that the surfaces of the forming plate 22 and the mask M are flush with each other by engaging the openings with the projecting pattern, a process for applying the material on the surface, a process for drying the forming plate and the mask material, a process for removing the mask M from the forming plate and a process for forming a plurality of the different kinds of the materials into the pattern-like shapes on the substrate B by repeating an operation to transfer the pattern on the substrate several times corresponding to a plurality of the kinds of the materials by placing one of the forming plates on the substrate B to bring the pattern into contact with the substrate B and adjusting the position and pressing from the back surface of the substrate B and/or the back surface of the forming plate 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
