摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a mechanism for rotatingly controlling an arm mechanism as imaged by an operator to horizontally turn a load part W or as felt by the hand of the operator. SOLUTION: In this load handling device, the rear end part of the arm mechanism AM is rotatably installed on the support part of a column or a pedestal, a rotatingly driving mechanism by a motor 7 and a gear train is installed between the support part and the rear end part of the arm mechanism AM so that the output thereof can be transmitted to the arm mechanism AM as a rotating force in a horizontal plane. The support part of the arm mechanism is formed so as to be rotated, by inputting, clockwise or counterclockwise through a minute angle in a horizontal plane. When the rotating force is provided to the arm mechanism Am by inputting, data in a free rotating direction by inputting produced on the support part of the arm mechanism AM is detected by an electromechanical detection means and, based on the detected rotating direction data, the rotatingly driving mechanism is controlled so as to rotate the support part of the arm mechanism AM in the same direction as the direction by the manual force.
