PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cast iron tube which unifies the distribution of the tube thickness and has a little of surface defect and internal defect. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the cast iron tube in a centrifugal casting facility, with which molten iron is supplied into a metallic mold 4 through a trough 5 for pouring the molten iron, inserted into the metallic mold 4 and also, the metallic mold 4 is shifted so as to shift away from the trough 5 and the molten iron in the metallic mold 4 is solidified to produce the cast iron tube, the trough 5 is disposed by displacing on the center line connecting the upper end position with the lower end position of the metallic mold. The metallic mold 4 is rotated toward the direction, in which the distance in the circular direction between the trough 5 and the lower end position of the metallic mold 4 is shortened, in the direction faced to the lower end position side of the metallic mold 4 from the trough 5 side and also, the molten iron is poured from the trough 5 toward the center line side of the metallic mold 4 and toward the portion positioned to the rearer part in the rotating direction from the lower end position of the metallic mold 4.
