PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making good use of washing water, by which the amount of waste liquid to be generated can be reduced by using at a polymerization step the washing water used for washing a vessel after an ester-based monomer is taken out from a vessel and the ester-based monomer to be generated and stored in the washing water, when the vessel is washed, can be recovered and effectively used. SOLUTION: This method for making good use of washing water comprises a step to use at the polymerization step the washing water used for washing the vessel after the ester-based monomer is taken out from the vessel.
