PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas filter apparatus having ceramic filters parallelly arranged therein while keeping them parallel and reducing the load generated in the end parts of the ceramic filters or in the fixed parts of the end parts thereof to well keep a filter fixed state. SOLUTION: Heat exchanging boiler water pipes are arranged to both of an outer cylinder to which one ends of the ceramic filters are fixed and an inner cylinder arranged in the outer cylinder concentrically and having the ceramic filters fixed thereto at other ends thereof. Saturated water (or saturated steam) having a uniform temperature is circulated to the boiler water pipe to adjust the outer and inner cylinders so as to make them definite in elongation.
