<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart rate measuring device which reduces a discomfort caused by restraint during measurement of heart rate, hardly falls off from the body, enables a user to use both hands, and is attached and detached easily. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter 10A of the heart rate measuring device includes a main body member 1 of a curved shape for the attachment to the neck part. The main body member 1 is made of an elastic member and is provided with a first electrode (left) 3 and a second electrode (right) 4 to oppose mutually in a region close to both end parts of the main body member 1. The elasticity of the main body member 1 presses the first electrode 3 and the second electrode 4 to the human body, and the contact of the first electrode 3 and the second electrode 4 with the human body is assured because of the main body member 1 expanded to both sides in a state where the transmitter 10A is attached. As a result, accurate detection of electrocardiogram signals by the first electrode 3 and the second electrode 4 is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
