PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which a value of one counter is effectively updated even when changing the value of the counter separately with two or more control means. SOLUTION: An IY register for counting an initial value of a random number counter for determining a big win is not only updated periodically in INT (intermittent) interruption process (figure 8) but also updated for '+1' constantly by utilizing the remaining time of INT interruption processing in main processing (figure 5). Since such remaining time is time to change in accordance with a control status of a game, the value of the IY register is surely updated and is available as an initial value for updating the random number counter by regarding that randomness is imparted. Besides, since the IY register is updated by two kinds of different processing of main processing and INT interruption processing, but since the IY register is updated according to one instruction regardless of a performance timing of both processing, the updated result is effectively utilized without making it meaningless.
