PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer in which condensed water containing a malodorous component can be prevented from being produced on the inside of a covering member detachably arranged in a feed port. SOLUTION: A planar heater 10 is arranged around the outer peripheral surface of a passage forming member 9 at the upper end to keep the covering member 8 warm. An air sucking port B1 for sucking outdoor air is arranged on the member 9 to form an airflow going downward in a conveying passage 6. As a result, it is difficult that steam and a gas containing malodorous component in a garbage treating tank 2 rise in the passage 6 and are condensed into water in the inside of the member 8.
