PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light beam treating device capable of providing a curing effect by the radiation of light beam and less providing irritation to a radiated portion. SOLUTION: This light beam treating device comprises a light source 2 and a spectral filter 5 for substantially shielding the spectral components other than those in a predetermined range among the spectral components of light beam issued from the light source 2, and radiating the light beam passed through the filter. The spectral filter 5 has characteristics to pass a first wavelength component having a wavelength of approximately 280 to 400 nm and a second wavelength component having a wavelength of approximately 700 or longer, and to substantially shield wavelength components between at least the first and second wavelength components.
