METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TREATING DRAINAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating drainage and a drainage treating device so as to decompose and remove ammonia from ammonia-containing drainage under conditions of normal temperature and normal pressure. SOLUTION: The drainage treating device is equipped with a catalytic reaction tank 100 charged with a titanium compound or titanium ore as a catalyst to decompose ammonia dissolved in the drainage into nitrogen and to remove ammonia by adding hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent from a hydrogen peroxide tank 104 by way of a hydrogen peroxide pump 103 to the ammonia- containing drainage under conditions of normal temperature and normal pressure.
