摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism of a needle bar which enables the reduction of a space. SOLUTION: The mechanism is provided with a swing arm 3 of which one end is fitted axially to an eccentric cam 2 provided at a main shaft 1, a support shaft 5 supported by a machine frame, a swing body 4 of which the intermediate part is supported swingably by the support shaft 5 and which is connected rotatably to the other end of the swing arm 3 at a first connecting point 4a at one end, a first connecting arm 6 of which one end is connected rotatably to a second connecting point 4b at the other end of the swing body 4 and which has a length equal to the distance from the support shaft 5 and the second connecting point 4b, a second connecting arm 7 of which one end is connected rotatably to a third connecting point 11 at the other end of the first connecting arm 6, a first rod 8 of which one end is made rotatably at a fourth connecting point 7a at the other end of the second connecting arm 7 and of which the other end is fixed to a needle bar driving shaft 9, a second rod 12 which is connected to the second connecting arm 7 at a fifth connecting point 13 in the middle of the third connecting point 11 and the fourth connecting point 7a, and a moving means 10 which moves the third connecting point 11 to a needle bar stop position on the axis of the support shaft 5 and to a position where a needle bar moves up and down and which is off the axis.
