<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood drawing system and a blood drawing method for diagnostic purposes, with which a simple operation can be realized to assure patients of a reduction in pain caused by the puncture, and which system has a robust and cost-effective construction. <P>SOLUTION: In a lancing device of the present invention, through a process wherein a linear movement of a trigger unit is converted into a rotational movement by an actuation mechanism for driving a lancet, a lancet holder which rests on at least one support surface in a housing initiates a falling movement by slipping off from the support surface, thereby, the lancing process of the lancet is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
