<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for expansion allowing the expanding operation of retaining members to be easily performed without cutting out blood flow during the expansion to prevent the displacement of the retaining members and easily extractable after an operation in the device for expansion for expanding the retaining members such as stents retained in a hollow stent grout retained in a lumen constricted part and stent grafts retained in an aneurysm part. <P>SOLUTION: This device for expansion comprises a radially expandable basket-like long wire member 1 for expansion formed by knitting wire, a double tube 2 having a double structure of a tube A (2a) and a tube B (2b) and storing the wire member 1 for expansion, a tip side chip 3 fixing the tip side of the wire member 1 for expansion, and a catheter 4 inserted through the inside of the wire member 1 for expansion stored in the double tube 2 and the tip side chip 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
