PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water receiving vessel for water leak capable of early finding out the occurrence of a water leak from the fixing part of a faucet or the connection part of a water shut off valve to a feed pipe within the cabinet of a dressing washstand or sink to suppress the damage to a minimum. SOLUTION: This water receiving container for water leak is arranged under the faucet 7 fixed to a counter 5 provided on the upper part of the cabinet 2, feed pipes 12, 13, 14 and 15 for supplying water or hot water to the faucet 7, and water shutoff valves 9 and 10 connected to the feed pipes 12, 13, 14 and 15 within the cabinet 2 of the washstand 1, sink, or the like.
