<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical examination instrument which does not give a fear to patients such as elderly, children, or cared people by mitigating an impact with a movement when an examination seat and/or a back board seat are elevated/lowered and/or started/stopped in an erecting operation in addition to a steady-state movement, and also by which an examination is performed by attaching importance on efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: When mobile parts to be controlled such as the examination seat 11 for supporting the patient, or the back board seat 12 are controlled in the movement to a predetermined target position in response to the purposes of a treatment and the examination, The acceleration degree and/or deceleration degree are gradually increased when the seats are started and/or stopped, and, then, gradually decreased afterward.
