PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the matching property between a feed water pump provided on a body and an impeller provided on a water storage tank. SOLUTION: This electric water heater has the body 1 constituting an outer hull, a container 2 for heating and heat-retaining a liquid 3 provided in the body 1, the attachable and detachable water storage tank 8 provided on the side surface of the body 1, a feed water motor 16 mounted on the body 1, the impeller 18 provided within the casing 20 of the water storage tank 8 and rotated synchronously with the feed water motor 16, and a water supplying passage 21 for carrying the liquid 3 in the water storage tank to the container 2 provided on the water storage tank 8. The casing 20 is formed as an integrated part with the water storage tank 8. According to such a structure, since the part for matching the feed water motor 16 to the impeller 18 is only two parts of the feed water motor 16 and the casing 20, the matching can be easily and surely performed.
