PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for bloodletting by which the bloodletting of a fish can be efficiently carried out in a fresh state, the movement of the fish is reduced at the bloodletting, and the fish can be killed precisely by cutting the medulla oblongata or the spinal cord by a blade. SOLUTION: The apparatus for the bloodletting has a supporting table and the blade. The supporting table supports the fish in a laid state, and is tilted so that the inner part may be lower than a charging opening. The blade moves from the side direction of the fish so as to cut the medulla oblongata or the spinal cord, and has a triangle blade shape having both terminal parts protruded from the center part at the tip of the blade.
