<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decreasing oil absorption of a starchy food. <P>SOLUTION: This method for dehydrating the starchy food such as a blocked noodle or a snack cake comprises treating the starchy food with frying and heating by a microwave.
