PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese yam-digging machine in which replacement cost of a chain and a sprocket is not required and the structure is simple and digging is efficiency. SOLUTION: A digging machine body 6 is tilted by operating a tilting hydraulic cylinder 5 and the posture is controlled so that a spade becomes a prescribed angle and the spade 13 is advanced into a part deeper than a planting groove by a trencher by operating a pushing hydraulic cylinder 12 while traveling a tractor 1. The tilting hydraulic cylinder 5 is operated at a planting place of the Chinese yam to be returned to the vertical posture and the yam is dug up by pushing up the yam with the spade 13 from the lower direction.
