PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissolved oxygen removing apparatus exhibiting high performance. SOLUTION: In the dissolved oxygen removing apparatus constituted so as to connect a gas supply passage 10 for supplying a replacing gas G, with which the dissolved gas in a liquid to be treated is replaced to a treating vessel 6, and a ventilation passage 5 for opening a gas zone 6a in the vessel 6 to the atmosphere to the treating vessel 6 to which a flow-in passage 1a of the liquid W to be treated and a flow-out passage 1b for the treated liquid W' are connected, a volume expanding chamber 13 which has a chamber space having a cross-sectional area larger than those of respective chamber inlet and outlet ports 5a, 5b of the treating vessel side and the atmosphere side for flowing-in and out the flowing gas G' in the ventilation passage 5 and is for staying the flowing gas G' in the chamber space is provided in the ventilation passage 5.
