PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolyzing apparatus in which a toxic gas and gaseous carbon dioxide can be restrained from being generated owing to the pyrolysis of an object to be treated by keeping the inside of a pyrolyzing furnace in an extremely low-oxygen and high-pressure state, the energy necessary for heating the furnace can be saved by lowering the pyrolyzing temperature and particulate substances such as a minute carbide and fly ash can be separated from the produced pyrolytic gas. SOLUTION: This pyrolyzing apparatus is composed of the pyrolyzing furnace having a filter at the inlet of a pyrolytic gas discharging pipe, a heat insulating wall surrounding the whole surface of the outer periphery of the pyrolyzing furnace, a hot blast generating unit arranged inside the heat insulating wall for sending a hot blast to heat the pyrolyzing furnace and a drive for rotating the pyrolyzing furnace.
