<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cane used in injury of a leg, and provide a cane capable of realizing smooth and continuous walking with little fatigue. <P>SOLUTION: The cane 10 has a body 11 and an axillary support part 12. The body 11 has a ferrule part 13, and a ground contacting surface 21 of the ferrule part 13 is an arced face. A radius of curvature of the ground contacting surface 21 is R and it is set at R=1.05×L. L is a distance between a top face 22 of the axillary support part 12 and the ground contacting surface 21. An opening angle of the ferrule part 13 (an opening angle of a curved part 18) is set at 30°. The opening angle is an angle formed by imaginary lines connecting both ends 24 and 25 of the ground contacting surface 21 and a center 23 of curvature of the ground contacting surface 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
