PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrubbing brush with a brush, which eliminates the use of a detergent, has a good drainage and air permeability, and prevents splash of water. SOLUTION: A cylindrical core 1 composed of, for example, polypropylene is integrally formed with projections 21 on its both end surfaces to form brushes 2. A plurality of twisted yarns 31 composed of, for example, polyester are disposed on the side surface of the cylindrical core 1 in the radial direction of the cylindrical core 1, and a binding belt 4 is wound around the substantially center part of the twisted yarns 31. A string 5 is knotted into an annular shape being inserted through the binding belt 4 to make a hanging ring, when the binding belt is wound. The binding belt 4 is strongly fastened, so that the twisted yarns 31 are bulged outward from the cylindrical core 1. The bulged twisted yarns 31 are trimmed with scissors or the like into a substantially circular shape in the front view and into a size as large as the whole of it is held in the hand (a diameter of approximately 10 cm in the front view) to make a scrubbing brush main body 3.
