摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device having a function of detecting a nick of a tool capable of more accurately detecting a load fluctuation due to the nick of the tool. SOLUTION: The numerical control device 10 is provided with an analyzing part 30 analyzing a machining program, generating a command main spindle rotating speed and calculating a main spindle load ratio, a distributing part 40 generating a distribution amount per unit time to be inputted into a feed shaft servo driver on the basis of the machining program, a main spindle rotation amount command outputting part 60 taking in the command main spindle rotating speed and outputting a main spindle rotation amount command for commanding a rotation amount per unit time, a cutting load calculating part 50 for determination generating a reference torque value by calculation on the basis of the main spindle load ratio, the distribution amount and the main spindle rotation amount command. A main spindle load comparing part 70 compares a load torque value fed back and inputted from a main spindle servo driver with the reference torque value, and it outputs a nick detection error if the load torque value is larger than the reference torque value.
