PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device capable of swiftly detecting a machining anomaly. SOLUTION: The machining device is provided with a machining anomaly first determining part 51 determining the machining anomaly on the basis of a detected value of a current sensor 49 detecting a machining state during machining of a cutting machine, a machining anomaly second determining part 52 determining the machining anomaly on the basis of a detected value of a tool length measuring machine 50 detecting a tool state in times other than during machining of the cutting machine, and a machining anomaly determination control part 53 determining the machining anomaly by determining a usage method or a usage sequence of the current sensor 49 or the tool length measuring machine 50 on the basis of a determination result of either one of the first determining part 51 or the second determining part 52.
