METHOD OF CONTROLLING TOMOGRAPHIC IMAGING APPARATUS, CONTROL DEVICE, AND TOMOGRAPHIC IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe a small structure to be examined accurately extending over a relatively long period of time, and to enable easy strata positioning relating to time. SOLUTION: A method of controlling a tomographic imaging apparatus which images tomographic images of a subject O and has functions of displaying reference images R and R1-R6of a subject O by using a screen B for a graphic user and of determining the positions of tomographic images S1-S12for subsequent imaging by using strata position marks M1-M6in the displayed reference images R1-R6is as follows. Sequences with the strata position marks M1-M6relating to time are placed in the reference images R1-R6. A time mark TT is assigned to each of the strata position marks M1-M6of the sequence. The positions of the tomographic images S1-S12for the subsequent imaging are determined relatively to a reference time point T0and with relation to imaging time point T for each of the tomographic images S1-S12by using the sequence for the strata position marks M1-M5relating to time.
