PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a mounting nut-attached panel, a method in which forming of a panel and fixing of a mounting nut are performed in the same machining site without requiring a press and male/ female forming dies. SOLUTION: A prepared hole for nut mounting is drilled at the nut-mounting position of a panel base stock (base stock) M and then, the peripheral part of the base stock is held with a frame-like holder 30, so that rigidity of the peripheral part of the base stock is maintained. The nut 2 with its projection up is placed on a tool 40, while the nut is formed with an engaging recess and provided with the projection 22 protruding in the axial direction from the nut body 21. By fitting the projection into the prepared hole, the base stock is supported with the nut body. Then, using a tool and a rod-like tool 50 commonly used for nut fixing and panel forming, a nut fixing/caulking process is performed around the prepared hole for nut mounting. Simultaneously, bulging process is performed on the base stock to form a shape corresponding to the external shape of the forming mold 42 of the tool. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
