PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type recording-notifying system which eliminates the troublesomeness of pushing-down of a recording button and displays measured information useful for an athlete. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a portable information terminal part 1 and a fixedly installed analyzing part 2, and a transmitting part of the terminal part 1 transmits identifying information as to each athlete. A receiving part 3 is installed at a checkpoint and receives the identifying information as to the athlete passing through the checkpoint. The time of passing of each athlete passing through the checkpoint is recorded in a data recording part 7. The time required for a section, the ranking of passing through the section, the differential time from the athlete taking the lead, etc., are computed from the recorded time of passing and recorded in the data recording part 7. These data are transmitted from a transmitting part 8, received by a receiving part of the terminal part 1 and displayed in a display part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
