Process for separating liquid products from a slurry containing a Fischer-Tropsch (FT) catalyst comprises: (a) removing part of the slurry from a FT reactor; (b) mixing the slurry with a hydrocarbon diluent; (c) separating a liquid with a solids content below 5 wt.% from the diluted slurry; and (d) separating residual solids from the liquid. An Independent claim is also included for apparatus for separating liquid products from a slurry containing a FT catalyst, comprising means for performing steps (a)-(d).
