PURPOSE: To realize high initial permeability and a small relative loss coefficient by controlling oxygen concentration in a specified temperature range in a specific range in a temperature down process of a sintering process and by controlling oxygen concentration in a specified range also in a temperature range lower than a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION: The title method is a method for manufacturing a sintered magnetic core which includes iron oxide, manganese oxide and zinc oxide as main elements and includes silicon oxide, calcium oxide and bismuth oxide as sub-elements. A sintering process of a molded item thereof is constituted of a temperature up process, a temperature holding process and a temperature down process. When a temperature is lowered from 1350 deg.C to a temperature T0 deg.C (1130<=T0 <=1180) in the temperature down process, oxygen concentration Po2 in atmosphere is controlled to realize (-8600×(1/ T)+2.16}<=logPo2 <= -28000×(1/T)+17.0} (T is an absolute temperature.), and is controlled to realize Po2 <=1×10<-4> at a temperature lower than T0 deg.C during temperature down. |
