PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a positive active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high capacity per the weight of the active material and high charge/discharge cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: A lithium manganese composite oxide represented by LiMn2 O4 is synthesized by mixing or fluidizing a manganese compound and a lithium compound to completely, uniformly advance the synthesizing reaction. The positive active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high capacity per the weight of the active material and high charge/discharge characteristics can be obtained. |
