PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel cell power generating system with a CO converter allowing rapid start-up of the CO converter, regardless of operation temperature of fuel cells without reducing the service life of the CO converter, with as compact as possible the whole structure of the fuel cell system. SOLUTION: A CO converter of this fuel cell power generating system has a cylindrical tube structure comprising a conversion catalyst tank 310, a buffer tank 320 and a combustion catalyst tank 330. Water is supplied to the buffer tank 320, while combustion fuel and air are supplied to the combustion catalyst tank 330. Thereby, the conversion catalyst tank 310 can be rapidly heated with buffering heat with the water in the buffer tank 320. |
