摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an amorphous hard magnetic alloy producible to a desired thickness by a casting method low in a cooling rate and showing hard magnetism by specifying the compsn. composed of Nd, Sm, Pr, Pm, Fe, Co, Al, Ga and Ge. SOLUTION: This amorphous hard magnetic alloy is the one essentially consisting of a compsn. expressed by the formula of Ax -(Fe1-a Coa )y -Dz (where A denotes Nd, Sm, Pr and Pm, D denotes Al, Ga and Ge and, by atom, 50<=x<=75%, 10<=y<=45%, preferably, 25<=y<=35%, 5<=z<=15% and 0<=a<=0.5 are satisfied) and is composed in such a manner that ferromagnetic clusters having disordered anisotropy are formed. This alloy is melted using a high frequency coil 1 in a crucible 2, the obtd. molten metal 3 is applied with pressure and is injected into the casting space 5 of a mold 4, thereafter, the mold 4 is cooled, and the molten metal 3 is cooled and solidified to obtain an amorphous hard magnetic alloy casting material.
