PURPOSE: A method for processing signals for the communication between an IO(Input/Output) server and a TMN(Telecommunication Management Network) agent is provided to achieve interfacing with a TMN side through a newly added IO server. CONSTITUTION: An IO server/TMN interface system consists of a workstation and an OMP(Operation and Management Processor). The workstation, connected with an operator computer, is composed of an IO server, the first TMN agent, the second TMN agent, and an IPC server. The first TMN agent, 700 bytes, formats a result for a command executed at the IO server and transfers it to the TMN byte by byte. The second TMN agent, 200 bytes, transfers the formatted message to the TMN two bytes by two bytes. The OMP is composed of an output control block(OC), an execution control block(EC), a system function handler(HANDF_sys), and a delivery function handler(HANDF_deliver) to format a message executed at an MMS(Man-Machine Subsystem) and to transfer it to the second TMN agent.
