<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability as well as increase the degree of freedom of arranging meters by providing a horn switch mechanism by the use of a space in a steering wheel, and lowering the total height of the wheel. SOLUTION: A horn switch mechanism 10 of an air bag module 3 is fixed to a boss plate 2 such that a lower part of a horn plate 13 is fixed thereto by inserting a tool from a through hole for working 19a of a bottom cover 19 of a steering wheel 1. The mechanism 10 is incorporated in the steering wheel 1 and a movable contact 10a thereof is energized by an energization means 16 so that the contact 10a and a fixed contact 10b are speced from each other in the upper and lower direction. When a covered part 4a of an air bag cover 4 is pushed from the upper direction, the means 16 is compressed so that the contact 10a contacts with the contact 10b to energize a part between the contacts 10a, 10b, thereby generating a hone sound.</p> |
