The sliding load platform for vehicles has a body of limited bulk, with a smooth surface, and with a rectangular contour and a vertical cross beam (1) at the longitudinal edge furthest from the doors, joined to the platform. The platform slides towards the doors at an adequate speed to the edge of the vehicle without overhang (6) and returns to its initial position via a system of parallel guides (7) located in the opposite walls of the vehicle. The platform is located a few centimeters above the surface (5) and its physical location is variable (4) so that it can be adapted to vehicles with side and rear doors. It is placed in operation by depressing a switch, which activates a securing system (2,3).
