APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING FILES OF SWITCHING SYSTEM, AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting files of a switching system, and a method therefor are provided to transmit files in real time by connecting a communication unit and a switching system through an external communication network. CONSTITUTION: A work station contacts with an EXIP(Ethernet and X.25 Interface Processor)(130) through a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) network to request to read filed of an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor)(110) or MMP(Man-Machine Processor)(120). The EXIP(130) transmits the request to the OMP(110) or MMP(120) through an IPCU(Inter Processor Communication Unit)(140). The EXIP(130) receives the files output from the OMP(110) or MMP(120) in an IPC message form through the IPCU(140). The EXIP(130) converts the files of IPC protocol into a TCP/IP protocol form to transmit the converted files to the corresponding work station.
