PURPOSE: A device for regulating the belt tension of a vehicle is provided to permanently regulate tension by automatically working the tension regulating device by mounting the tension regulating device just one time when the tension of a V-belt is changed and reduce the vibration of the V-belt by installing an airbag to the device. CONSTITUTION: A device for regulating the belt tension of a vehicle, which is mounted to a side between an engine and an air conditioner compressor to regulate the tension of a V-belt(73) connecting a first pulley(71) mounted to a rotary shaft installed to the engine and a second pulley(72) mounted to a rotary shaft of the air conditioner compressor installed to the side of the engine, is composed of a supporting bracket(81); an idle pulley(82) disposed to the upper end of the supporting bracket and hung with the V-belt; an airbag(83) installed to the supporting bracket with storing air to be compressed and expanded to the tension variation of the V-belt; a detecting device connected to the airbag and operated to the change of the airbag to detect the change of the airbag; and a pneumatically operated control valve(84) connected with the airbag and the detecting device to regulate air of the airbag according to a signal of the detecting device and keep the air of airbag uniform.
