The lock comprises a latch formed as a slider (5) as well as the cruciform piece (7) operating the controlling part (8). The control of the slider is achieved immediately by a shaft (19) carrying a peg (20) which engages in a slot (21), and mediately by the controlling part (8) itself under pressure from the cruciform piece. When the door is closed the movement of the slider and of the bolt (6) is possible as soon as the cruciform piece enters the associated aperture in the sheet metal (2) of the lock. The bolt does not move until it is in line with another aperture. |
