PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for a brake system is provided to arrange three communicating passages at regular intervals and accordingly smooth the flow of fluid without the blocking of oil by minimizing the overlap of a supporting part of a filter and the communicating passage. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve for a brake system is composed of a valve housing(1) having a hollow part(2) longitudinally formed in the middle; a communicating passage(30) radially formed in the valve housing to communicate the hollow part of the valve housing with a passage of a modulator block(100); and a filter(20) mounted to the outside of the valve housing arranged with the communicating passage to filter foreign materials of oil that are flowed into the communicating passage. At least three communicating passages are arranged at regular intervals.
